This is the same advice I give when people send me mixes for mastering. Peaks anywhere from -10dBfs (and even lower) to 0dBfs you'll be fine. As long as your mix isn't slammed or distorting. That being said with Aria headroom doesn't really matter. If it sounds great it sounds great right? What does the before and after on a dynamic range meter mean? If you're concerned with the DR number than why not go with the softer setting? Most everything online is normalized anyway. This feedback does seem strange to me that Aria sounds GREAT to you but you don't like the number on your dynamic range meter. I will continue to use it, I like the sound, and it does a better job than I do (at that stage of the songs progress) using a limiter and multi band etc. You can re master the song, using the different types for no extra cost. Its extremely easy to use, the website and process is great.

I have released 4 songs already to iTunes using this service, I did them as singles. not mine, and he had just done acoustic guitar and voice. I ended up choosing mix type A on all but one song, which was a clients song. I mix with lots of headroom, somewhere in the order of 10dBFs. I am pretty sure I just used my 10th Master.I had purchased 10 songs to use in one month for 49.99 USD.
